Mario Golf

This is not a joke: send this in to Nintendo for the next Mario Golf. It reminds me so much of Mario Golf! (Especially 0:50-1:00).

So, for the intro: I found it was too long for a dance song actually. The samples used were pretty nice, but the intro was too long. I was always hoping for the a beat, but then it would just be kick bass kick bass etc...

When the first melody kicks in, the filters are really nice. And when you bring in the other melody, man, I love the lead's sound, it's really nice. The wicked guitar sound get's a little annoying after a while, but it's melody keeps me listening.

The "build-up" from the first melody's appearance at 2:00 until 3:00 is a tad too long. But, the beat at 3:00 is really nice. The filters going on in the background keep it from getting monotinous. I love all the melodies going at once, good job on that.

On the 4 minute mark, I am little confused on why you did that, no offense. The melody sounds nice, but you would either need a breakdown, or something to let me (The listeners) know that there is going to be that big of a change. I was sure there was going to be a breakdown, but the beat started right up again, and it was a little harsh on my ears I found. Honestly, you need a second breakdown, then the new melody, then something like both of them playing together, don't just bring it in like that! :p

As for the outro, it was alright, fairly similar to the intro, just reversed.

As for the samples used, the kick was nice and punchy, and I liked the clap. The bass was nice in the intro, gave a nice feeling, especially with the nice use of percussions. The pluck-ish lead at around 2:00 is my favorite sound in the song, and I would love to just listen to 2:00-2:20 looped :)

On the other hand, closed hi hats were too loud for meh! And the open hi hat was nicely incorperated, but it's too generic sounding. The second bass in the intro is nice, but it's too "high ended" for me :(. And the wicked guitar lead is nice, but it sticks out too much and for too long.

Anyways, I think that's a long enough review (I wish I was writing this on mehtyhuyejkdishkshiadhiehidsjaihidphe ta mine xD)
